Thunderbird 115 Global search list view (Feedback)

Hi,

I don't know wether this is the right forum to connect to Thunderbird developers, but I wanted to suggest, what always annoyed me with thunderbird and hasn't been improved with v115 UI unfortunatly is that the global search has a big view, that is useless for me and I always have to manually switch to the list view, that is my preferred view.

Could you at least add an option, to enable only list view with search results?

It has been reported 11 years ago and has been ignored and comments closed by the developers team unfortunately 😞

The new search of Thunderbird is big **bleep**. I want a global searchfield like before. Searching now is no fun and takes minutes instead of seconds. In Germany we call it "verschlimmbessert". 😞
