    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, this change was made in 2016. There was a checkbox to revert to the old behavior, but I haven't looked to see whether that still exists.       <title>Enter key is wrong in Thunderbird</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I press the Enter key in Thunderbird, it adds a blank line.&lt;BR /&gt;I don't want a blank line.&amp;nbsp; I want just one Enter key, not two.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;This is different than 99% of the other editors on planet earth.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you want a blank line, just press the Enter key 2 times.&amp;nbsp; Easy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is a bug in Thunderbird, please fix it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For me, this has only started happening in 2024.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And not only does it add two blank lines instead of one, it puts them *above* where I'm typing, so I have to go back *every single time* and delete them and put them where I'd originally intended.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone please tell me what version to install so that this stops happening?&amp;nbsp; It's adding a ton of time to my use of Thunderbird, to the point where I'm considering finding an alternative.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
