As rare as it is, Microsoft occasionally get something right. Outlook's calendar allows the selection of several (seven) display colors for the event rectangles displayed on the calendar. This is very helpful. Not all events are created equal. A reminder to take out the trash (I use the default color blue) is not as important as my wife's birthday (I use the color red). I think this functionality would be good addition to Lightning. Thanks. Steve

Glad to hear you find the color-coding in Outlook's calendar useful! I agree that having similar functionality in Lightning would be a great enhancement, especially for organizing important events like birthday freebies.
