STOP IT FROM ASKING ME TO UPDATE WHEN I HAVE IT TO INSTALL WHEN I'M READY TO.

I understand the risk, I pay attention to things, and I just want to spend an evening watching videos and talking with friends without a pop up asking me to download and install every f-ing other tab I open!!! What is the point of have the option at all besides automatically IF I CAN'T ACTUALLY TURN IT OFF AND PLAN WHEN I UPDATE

Type about:preferences#about in the URL bar, then press ENTER

Choose the option "Check for updates, but choose when to install"

Or move to the "ESR" version, which only gets updates around every two-weeks:

As for me, my choose, Check for updates, but choose when to install.

As for me, i use DisableAppUpdate.
