Subject: Firefox Translator seems to interfere with websites and the Jimdo editor

Hello,

I have been experiencing an issue with Firefox’s built-in translator for about a month now.

When the translator is active on certain websites, it seems to interfere with how the page behaves. In my case, it affected the editor of my Jimdo website and caused my session to drop repeatedly while I was actively working. This did not happen before.

I tested the issue carefully:

I restarted my PC
Firefox is up to date
I had only one tab open
I disabled the translator for that specific page

Since turning off Firefox’s translator for that page, the problem has not occurred again.

This makes me believe the issue is related to Firefox’s translation feature, or to how it interacts with some websites.

Could you please check whether this is a known issue, and whether there is a fix or workaround?
